The typical smartphone user is still consuming less than 300MB of data a month, according to a recent wireless study, but that’s up about 230 percent compared with last year’s figure and with data-intensive mobile services like video chat and streaming Hulu knocking at the door, mobile data use is probably going nowhere but up.
